Oasis Overland is a tour operator specialising in overland adventure tours and expeditions in Africa, Central Asia and South America.  We have been operating for 22 years.  Our core business is our range of overland adventures, run in our custom built overland trucks and we also offer a range of tours using local transport in Peru, Bolivia, South East Asia, Pakistan and Morocco.  Our one off exploratory expeditions which we run every 2 years or so are known for journeying to far flung places well off the tourist trail.  We are a small company offering our clients excellent customer service and once in a lifetime experiences.

This role involves both sales and operations for our South America, Central Asia and South East Asia overland tours and expeditions.  The role involves communicating with prospective travellers to assist them in finding and booking their trip and supporting those clients who have already booked, as well as supporting our overseas crew and liaising with them and overseas agents to ensure every trip runs smoothly. Key Responsibilities :     Selling Oasis Overland trips by phone and email Processing of bookings, ensuring clients have all the pre-trip information they need before they travel and ongoing customer service To provide support to crew before and during each trip To liaise with overseas agents, e.g. reserving pre-trip accommodation, booking Inca Trail permits, submitting information in support of visa applications Encouraging travel agents of choice to book with Oasis, dealing with their bookings, enquiries and payments To assist at key showcase events for Oasis Overland – e.g. London travel shows Marketing, Social Media and Administrative Support.   Requirements: We are looking for the following key skills and experience:   Ability to deliver excellent customer service – go above and beyond Knowledge of travel in South America and Asia Excellent communication skills and telephone manner, friendly but professional with clients and agents Enthusiasm to inspire potential clients Supportive to colleagues Problem solving skills Good IT skills including use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Accuracy and attention to detail Must hold full UK driving licence Punctual and reliable Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and deliver high work output Good time management skills, organised and flexible approach to work   Training in the above areas will be provided but previous travel experience in South America or Central Asia is highly desirable.
