Wanderlust is the UK’s original travel magazine and this year celebrates its 25th anniversary. Our readers are “super-travellers” who spend over £8,000 per head on long-haul travel per year and who are looking for experiences.
In October 2018, Think Publishing took a majority stake in the brand and moved the sales team to its central London offices. We are now recruiting experienced, senior sales professionals to join our dynamic and successful sales and commercial team to present and sell in our range of effective print and digital inventory to the world travel market.
With ten print issues per year and over half a million unique visitors each month, we are at the forefront of delivering exciting and innovative creative solutions to the travel market – from tourist boards to tour operators, from airlines to cruise lines.
We have a selection of roles available and so if you are experienced in the travel sector and are looking to make a move to an ambitious, forward-thinking cross-platform travel media brand then we want to hear from you.
Wanderlust covers soft adventure, authentic experiences, culture and nature and we believe passionately about travel – we write honest, unbiased inspirational articles. We promote responsible tourism, support emerging destinations and encourage readers to go beyond the tourist attractions and really explore a destination.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
One role is for an experienced Advertising Manager who will be responsible for over achieving targets across print, digital, and events. The role will require growing business from West-end agencies and lifestyle brands, growing business from the tour operator market, developing new revenue streams, handling affiliate deals, bringing in new, creative solutions and raising the presence of the Wanderlust brand.
The second role is for a Head of Creative Solutions. Increasingly our work is to develop native advertising initiatives, packed with top-quality content on behalf of tourist boards around the world. These campaigns can include a mixture of print and digital content, e-newsletters, video, display and interactive content hubs as well as media planning and buying. We are looking for a hungry, ambitious and digital first sales professional to develop and sell-in commercial campaigns around the world. You will need to be completely au fait with all digital channels and their respective benefits as well as knowing what content works for each channel. You will work closely with the creative and technical teams to create responses to briefs and maximise commercial revenues from these campaigns. You will need to be happy to travel extensively to travel trade events globally.
